Description
I Mirabilia ("The Wonders") is a family of three interactive dolls, designed for hospitalized children. The dolls, through different interactions, empower children to improve their relationships with their doctors, psychologists and fellow hospitalized children.

Communication objective
The goal of the project was to improve the interpersonal relationships between a child and their family members, classmates, and teachers. The concept is based on a more physical and direct interaction than screen applications, with each doll being able to assist with the varied emotional needs that children with terminal or chronic illnesses might have, but don’t easily show. I Mirabilia is directed at children aged from 6–12, and is suitable for different periods of childhood or hospitalization. Using a variety of contexts, I Mirabilia offers playful support, aiding the work of doctors and psychologists in their care for the psychological aspects of children.

Tools used
Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator were used while sketching and creating the graphics, such as logo, lettering, illustrations and the final images of the presentation. Adobe InDesign was used for the layout of the report. Adobe Flash was used to create the final videos that explain the interaction patterns of the dolls.

Adobe Tools
